Iowa Bowlers Give Back to Those Who’ve Served

The bowlers in Iowa are committed to their veterans. They are also committed to a BVL-sponsored national competition which encourages veterans to get out and get active. The Training-Exposure-Experience Tournament, also known as the TEE Tournament, is held in Iowa City, Ia. annually and provides numerous activities for disabled veterans. Fun on the Lanes Creates Brighter Days for Arizona Veterans

League bowlers in Arizona played a critical leadership role last season for BVL, contributing more than $42,000.00 to support our mission. More than $27,000 was raised by members of the Metro Phoenix USBC, the largest single amount of any local USBC association nationwide. Notably, associations representing Yuma, Copper Counties, Tucson, Lake Havasu City, and Arizona State USBC were instrumental in insuring the success of the campaign. DFW Bowling Community Launches Campaign for Special Wheelchairs

Bowlers in the Dallas Fort Worth area are joining together to support a unique fundraiser, in conjunction with the US Women’s Open at the Plano Super Bowl,  to provide mobility-restricted area military veterans with automated all-terrain wheelchairs.  The planned donation will allow veterans access to beaches, hills and otherwise difficult-to-navigate topography.  The effort is being championed by area business leader and bowling center owner Jamie Brooks.
