Honorees for
Military Family Members

Return to State Map

Although Veterans do the recognizable service, their family members should also be recognized - women and men who hold down the fort. They are left with children to raise and other family members' care while the serviceman is away from home for many, many months. They do the work of both parents in the serviceman's absence.
