| Roland Served in three wars: WWII, he enlisted as a 17 year old; Korean War, he was recalled to active duty; Vietnam Conflict, he reentered service thru the TAR Program (Training Active Reserves). He retired 6-30-75 and died 12-18-03 at 79 years. He has two purple hearts, two bronze stars, and a Korean service medal issued by the Korean government. | |||||

| My son, who is currently stationed at the U.S. Marine Corps base at Quantico in Fredricksburg, VA. He served in Iraq and helped bring out Jessica Lynch along with several other deceased Marines. He is a wonderful husband to Sarah (1 year May 22) and is an even better big brother to his little sister Kaitlyn - 4 1/2 year old. When home the two are inseperable. I love him dearly and am VERY PROUD of what he is doing for his country. | |||||
