Introducing an all new Bowlers to Veterans Link Campaign. . .
Join Operation Honor Force! All bowlers, individually or through teams, leagues, and associations are being asked to honor a military man or woman active duty or veteran, living or deceased to recognize their service to our country. This campaign is presented by the Bowlers to Veterans Link (BVL), with 60 years of service to Americas military.*
Participation in Operation Honor Force is easy: An individual or group chooses a level of contribution, and makes a donation in the honorees name. Honorees could be a teammate, relative, friend, or someone in the community who has served our country or is on active duty. The name of the honored service man or woman is posted on the BVL website and a note acknowledging the contribution is sent to the honoree or his or her family. Contributing individuals or groups have an opportunity to also share why they selected their honoree.
In 1942, the sport of bowling organized BVL and made a promise to our nations military men and women we wont forget them. Since then, that commitment has been cemented with more than $30 million dollars to support hundreds of recreational and therapeutic programs and services for active duty military, veterans, and their families. Funds collected through Operation Honor Force will continue these on-going programs. For more information, call 703-934-6039.
