Kim Terrell, one of the nations top female bowlers, has recently joined the Bowlers to Veterans Link family as a professional clinician. In this capacity, Terrell will conduct Learn to Bowl/Learn to Bowl Better clinics on the lanes for veterans recovering in VA Hospitals and Vet Centers throughout the country.
This program, part of BVLs activities for more than 30 years, has featured some of Americas most beloved bowlers including Frank Clause, Don Russell, Earl Anthony, and Nelson Bo Burton, Jr., as well as current clinicians Helen Duval and Johnny Petraglia.
We couldnt be happier that Kim has agreed to be part of the BVL mission to serve our nations veterans, remarked BVL Board Chair Elaine Hagin. Kim will be a wonderful addition to our clinician staff and a fabulous ambassador for our organization.
The 2001 Womens U.S. Open and 2002 Womens International Bowling Congress Queens champion has nine titles in her distinguished 16-year professional career. Terrell established herself in the bowling world as a collegiate bowler at San Jose State University, earning All-America honors twice. Following her collegiate success, the California native represented her country internationally for two seasons as a member of Team USA. Since 2004, Terrell has served as an assistant coach for Junior Team USA.
A three-time winner of the Robby Award, given to the Professional Womens Bowling Association player that best exemplifies the most positive image of women in professional bowling, both on the lanes and off. With the WIBC Queens title under her belt, Terrell went on to appear on national television a career-best nine times in 2002.
